Formerly the little a conference, Converge San Diego is a newly rebranded regional event presented by AIA San Diego in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council-California. With a fresh name, visual identity, and expanded mission, Converge San Diego invites professionals across disciplines to explore how design can lead the way in building resilient communities.

Call for Proposals

Converge San Diego 2025 is now accepting proposals for sessions aligned with this year’s theme: Resilient by Design: Strengthening Places, People, and Practices.

We welcome you to submit your ideas and presentation abstracts.

We are interested in proposals that showcase efforts in the categories above that lead with equity and social resilience, builds community power, considers holistic solutions to climate interventions, and/or discusses approaches at different scales within the selected categories. We highly encourage submissions that address multiple categories.

Abstracts will be chosen to fill 60 minute session slots (inclusive of Q&A, if desired).  Sessions will be available in person.

Sessions will be held on October 16th, 2025.
